Lab 7 Filters

In Lab 7 "Filters" we had to take 5 pictures we took outside plus a picture of ourselves. This lab wasn't necessarily hard because all we had to do was add 6 pictures in total and add different effects to each on. First we had to add all the pictures and align them with one another. Next the picture we took of ourselves we had to liquify it by going into choose filter and choosing liquify. After this we played around with it until our picture was liquified to a good amount. After this for the next picture i used water color which outlined the outside of my picture with white and turned the whole picture as if someone painted it using water colors which was the filter. Next I used Ink outlines for the next picture and this filter created an outline of ink and  looked like someone faded the picture using ink and outlined everything in the picture. After this i used Stained Glass onto the next picture which made it look like stained glass. The next picture i used Rough Pastels which made the picture look like it was colored with pastels and faded it out by coloring on it. The last picture i used Glowing Edges which was my favorite next to Liquify and this filter made the picture darker but it outlined the edges with a glowing texture of different colors.

           The difference between a Regents and a Advanced Regents diploma is the minimum requirement each of them have. For a regular regents diploma you only need 2 credits in any other language other than English, but in the advanced you need 6 credits which is 3 years of a different language. Project 6 Reflection Journal

During project 6 we had to create and demonstrate our skills as web designers, by brainstorming and collaborating to create a yearbook. The time for the project there was 4 people per group and each one had a unique role. My role in my group was the designer. I chose this role because it was the hardest and allowed me to practice even more with my illustrator, Photoshop and In design skills. Our topic for the yearbook was kids in the city or city life, which Is why I chose a 7 train because most kids take the 7 train to come and go to school. Another reason why I put the Black Hawk over the train is because that was the symbol of our school. I made this in illustrator and used the trace option to make it look like it was drawn and more appealing than the original pictures. Lab 1 Reflection

        For this lab what I did was with the camera given to me I went on a hike around my neighborhood and find a good spot to take pictures.  Once i found a great spot, I stood still and took 30 different pictures with different angles and areas around me. After the pictures taken, we input the pictures to the computer and opened up photoshop to start working on them.  We looked through all the pictures and chose the 5 best ones that were taken as a close up, eye level, low level, high level and landscape. With these 5 pictures we set them up in photoshop in a order and describe what they were. The way we did this was by using different layers for each photo and creating text layers under them so they can visualized and so we can know what picture it was.
