Jason Batista 9/24/17 Web Design                         Png,jpg, raw and gif are all file formats. Png stands for Portable Network graphics. Png supports lossless data compression. This means that png was created to hopefully replace the gif file that is normally used on the internet. A gif is a lossless format that supports both animated and static images. A gif can loop endlessly and can be a twirling icon or a wavy one. Gifs are generally easier to make than using Java or flash. The raw file is a file that hasn't been compressed or encrypted. Raw files are usually in a image sensor or a digital camera. The raw file is not ready to be printed or edited. A jpg is a file extension for a lossy graphics file. CW What Does a CTE Diploma Means To Me?

The difference between a Regents and a Advanced Regents diploma is the minimum requirement each of them have. For a regular regents diploma you only need 2 credits in any other language other than English, but in the advanced you need 6 credits which is 3 years of a different language. Also you will need to take a test for Spanish or a different language and pass it with a 65 in order to obtain the Advanced Regents Diploma. Having a CTE endorsement in either one will allow you to graduate with a CTE diploma and this will allow you to have experience and be able to find a job as soon as you graduate. Also with CTE you will be able to earn college credit which will help you in the long run. Internships and special badges also come with the CTE program if you put hard work into it. Having these college credits can allow you to graduate for college a semester earlier most likely.            Being able to achieve the C...

Blog Intro

My name is Batista Jason and I am 15 years old. I come from a Dominican household but was born in the United States. The school I attend is Information Technology High School and I am currently a sophomore at Info Tech. The academy I am in is the CTE academy and program is Web Design. This has caught my attention because of all the benefits that come with this class and mainly the college credits you will be able to earn if you complete the course. My hobbies are usually just surfing the web, playing video games, messing around with programs, and baseball. I'm not sure yet what my dream is but hopefully i figure it out, but my goals are to graduate from high school with an Advanced Regents Diploma and get into a good college.
